Skąd wzięła się Twoja miłość do tanga?
Dorastałam w domu, w którym słuchaliśmy folkloru. Pewnego dnia mój tata włączył Cacho Castaña. Zakochałam się w tangu, kiedy usłyszałam „Garganta con arena”. To wtedy tango stało się moją pasją.
Uczyłaś się śpiewu czy to wrodzony talent?
Tak, pobierałam lekcje śpiewu, zarówno w moim rodzinnym mieście (Pigüé), jak i w Buenos Aires. Nawet w czasie kwarantanny studiowałam śpiew podczas lekcji wirtualnych.
Tango to jedno, ale do tej pory pamiętam Twoje wykonanie Edith Piaf. Było przepiękne.
Pigüé to miasto założone przez Francuzów z regionu L 'Aveyron. Z tego powodu zachęca się tutaj do nauki kultury francuskiej. Pewnego dnia, po wykonaniu „Les Miserables”, w którym brałem udział jako mała Cosette, pewien mężczyzna zaprosił mnie do zaśpiewania na jakimś wydarzeniu i poprosił o piosenkę Edith Piaf. Od tego czasu zakochałam się w muzyce francuskiej i podczas pandemii zaczęłam uczyć się tego języka.
Podczas śpiewania Edith Piaf brzmiałaś jak rasowa śpiewaczka operowa. Czy wiążesz z tym zawodem swoją przyszłą karierę?
W przyszłości chciałbym nadal śpiewać w innych krajach, zwłaszcza z dużymi orkiestrami. Uwielbiam słuchać piosenek operowych, w zeszłym roku zaczęłam studiować śpiew liryczny. Moją ulubioną arią jest „Królowa nocy” Mozarta.

@Valentina Etchebest is a young, talented singer with a promising career. She sings beautifully, is ambitious and pleasant to listen to. With my mother’s consent, she agreed to give me an interview and tell me a little more about herself.
Where did your love for tango come from?
I grew up in a house where we listened to folklore. One day my Dad turned on the Cacho Castaña. I fell in love with tango when I heard „Garganta con arena”. Then tango became my passion.
Have you learned to sing or is it a natural talent?
Yes, I took singing lessons both in my hometown (Pigüé) and in Buenos Aires. Even during quarantine, I learned to sing in virtual lessons.
Tango is one thing, but I still remember your performance by Edith Piaf. It was beautiful.
Pigüé is a city founded by the French from the L 'Aveyron region. For this reason, it is encouraged here to learn French culture. One day, after I performed Les Miserables, which I was taking part in as little Cosette, a man invited me to sing at an event and asked for an Edith Piaf song. Since then, I fell in love with French music and started learning the language during the pandemic.
When you sang Edith Piaf, you sounded like a purebred opera singer. Is your future related to this profession?
In the future, I would like to continue singing in other countries, especially with large orchestras. I love listening to opera songs, I started studying song singing last year. My favorite aria is Mozart’s Queen of the Night.
